HISTORY OF MOSCOW MULE
This most popular cocktail has many different origin stories. There is some of that going on with the Moscow Mule, but all of the origin stories revolve around two persons. John Martin , owner of Smirnoff Vodka and a man named John Morgan, who created a brand of ginger beer named the Cock’n Bull. In 1941 John Martin of G.F. Heublein of American East Coast invented the Moscow Mule. The company was based in Hartford Connecticut. Joining Martin in the creation of the creation of the drink was then president of Cock ‘n’ Bull products, a manufacturer of ginger beer and restaurant owner in Hollywood Jack Morgan.
The Copper mug got very famous on that time in which the cocktail was traditionally served. Since then the drink is served in copper mug.
